Visitor numbers

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits (for example, how many people opened a page and from which country). It does not use cookies or local storage and does not build a profile of you. We only see totals.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Music players (YouTube and SoundCloud)

The players on the home page are not loaded when you open the page. Nothing is sent to YouTube or SoundCloud until you press play. When you do:

• YouTube loads in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Google may still store data on your device once the video plays. See Google's privacy policy.
• SoundCloud may set cookies once its player loads. See SoundCloud's privacy policy.

If you'd rather not load them, use the links to open the music on YouTube or SoundCloud directly.

Links to other sites

Links to YouTube, SoundCloud and Instagram take you to those sites, and their own privacy policies apply there.

Why we process this data

Counting visits and keeping the site secure are our legitimate interests under UK data protection law (UK GDPR). We keep only what is needed for that.

Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Write to the contact above. If you're unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
